Baby Dedication
At The Community Nazarene Church our Baby Dedication service is an intimate ceremony in which believing parents and god-parents make a commitment before the Lord to submit their child to God’s will and raise that child in the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
In essence, parents dedicate their child and make a promise to the Lord to do everything within their power to raise that child in a godly way, until that child can make a decision on their own to follow God. At the ceremony, parents are asked to make this vow of commitment and are instructed on some of their parental responsibilities. These include:

Teaching and training the child in God’s word

Demonstrating an example of godliness

Praying earnestly for the child

Attending worship services regularly
To request the dedication of your child by the Senior Pastor, please call the church office 643-9111 to fill out parent and god-parent questionnaire. The baby dedication service is held on the fourth Sunday of the month.
