Servant Leader: Rev. David Solomon

Why should I join a small group?
  • To study and learn God’s word with Community Nazarene Church members and servant leaders.

  • To Connect to Community Nazarene Church family and servant leaders who will support you on your faith walk, celebrate life’s blessings with you and help you when you’re struggling in some of life’s difficulties.

  • To develop a more meaningful and consistent prayer life by learning how to pray for and with members of your group.

  • To build a supportive network of friends and family that you can talk to and socialize with outside of Community Nazarene Church.

By the leading of the Holy Spirit, we will seek the heart of God, stir up our faith and believe God for His power to be manifest. We are confident when we pray, He will hears us (1 John 5: 14-15) and that He will bring change to nations, communities, homes and our personal lives.

How do I join a small group?

New members are automatically assigned to a new member group as part of the Community Nazarene Church new member process. All others will be assigned by a servant leader. Everyone is placed in a group by zip code.

Can I invite someone who does not attend Community Nazarene Church to a small group outreach?

Definitely Yes! We encourage you to invite your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, workout buddies and acquaintances to your small group.

Who is a small group leader?

A small group servant leader has complete a six week training session led by the Pastoral team of Community Nazarene Church. A small group servant leader is trained to conduct discussions in a way that is pleasing to God. A small group servant leader must be a Christian, Member of Community Nazarene Church, Support the Ministry with Tithes and Offerings, Attend Weekly Worship, Physical or Virtually Engaging in some form of daily devotion and Embrace the Vision of the Church.
